Doing Ethics Technique Ethical Challenges and Solutions

Question: Discuss about the Doing Ethics Technique for Ethical Challenges and Solutions. Answer: Introduction: As ICT help in improving the functionalities of the business organizations, sometimes it is becoming the cause of grief and anguish. The development in the field of information and communication techniques facilitates the business organizations in improving the business activities. However, at the same time the implement of ICT within the organization has brought several issues, which novel to the business organization and in this matter confidentiality is most important issue because in ICT set up confidential information can be revealed to the unauthorized person, which can be a bigger issue for the company as it spoil the reputation and brand image of the company (Foster, 2010). Moreover, it can also spoil the brand value thus, adversely impacted ion the business organization so that hinder the growth and development process of the company. Presently there are many incidents where observe lots of ethical dilemma as well as ethically questionable situation within the organization d ue to the failure of ICT within the organization. An incident of ethical issue in my recent company ABC Company has been discussed in this easy. Identification of an ICT-Related Ethical Issue in Workplace The ethical issues that are related to the identification of the related issues in the workplace consists of the various issues based on the components of the ethics which are the privacy, ownership, control, accuracy and the security components. The ethical issues that are observed in the case of ABC Company are the collection of the massive data with the creation of the information breaching in regarding to the security, demographics and the international geopolitical collection of the strategic analysis with the creation of decrement of the profitability (Gijbels, Raemdonck, Vervecken, Van Herck, 2012). The issue also deals with the internal and the external collection of the data in the organisation with the identification of the individual information regarding the maintenance of the unauthorised personnel. It leads to the breaching of the information that leads to the deterioration of the company with considering the depression of the status of the company. With this the rival ry companies gets profited and thereby the legal documents are seemed to be ethically breached with the creation of the contracts of the employees. Therefore the breaching of the information leads to the failure of the contract that deals with the assets belongings of the company and thereby the system and the plan of the operation of the company seem to be breached with the fraudulency acts undertaken in the organisation (McGee, 2008). These issues create huge barriers in the form of breaching of the information and thereby the control over the behaviour of the employees cannot be monitored. These creates the violation of the privacy acts followed by the company an henceforth the issues are being explained in the manner with keeping in view the acts considered. Analysing the Ethical Issues with the Solutions Using DET The analytical issues consists of the acts that are a type of the ethical considerations with the creation of breaching of the privacy rights and thereby the organisation is undergoing through the issues that are considered in keeping in view the current state of the company. The infringement acts also helps in the breaching of the contract with the consideration of the typical management of the company. It thereby helps in the creation of the credit backgrounds that results in the creation of the depression in the country and thereby the continuation of the DET (Harvey, 2011). With the continuation of the acts of DET, the issues are created with the creation of the depression of the performance in the organisation of ABC Company. The organization has to face ethical dilemma or they place themselves in ethically questionable situation relating to their information and communication technologies. Improper implementation of Information and Communication Technologies put the companies in to these types of adverse situations. The company has to analysis the situation in order to cope up with the situation. The ABC Company has to investigate the issue more carefully so that can provide a suitable solution for the issue. The security of data has to be increased so that hacking cannot be possible and the hackers cannot be able to search the confidential data of the company (Manikandan Vani, 2010). The computers must be protected with user password as well as administration should have authority to protect the computer from unethical usages. The data should be protected and in this way the unethical activities can be reduced. Moreover, in this way the unethical access of the data can be restricted. The issue can be m itigated by superior security implementations, which help in securing data from the illegal access. The duel security system is this matter help considerably in order to secure the data from unauthorised access. Conclusion The developments of science and technologies have both positive and negative effect on the organization. Technologies provide considerable facilities to the business organizations especially with the recent advancement in information and communication technologies so that the efficiency of the important business activities is improved (Valentine, Hollingworth, Eidsness, 2014). However, the chances of data security hazard have been increased. In the undertaken case, it is observed that due to the improper implementation of the ICT within the ABC Company has led to the company into the adverse situations, where the confidential information about the customers of the company was leaked and the information was collected by the rivals company of the ABC company so that the company has to face severe financial losses.
